Obituary of Carl M. Stein

Carl M. Stein passed away Dec. 2, 2020. Husband of the late Fay (nee Ocksenreider); loving dad of Caroline Stein (Kevin Greene); "Pop Pop" of Maya Stein-Greene; brother of Beverly Sartori; stepgrandfather of David Greene and Kate Montgomery. Also survived by many cousins who know him by his childhood nickname of Buster. Carl is remembered for the twinkle in his blue eyes and his unique sense of humor. He was an extremely hardworking man. He used his mechanical skills to help friends and family in need, often going out of his way to do so. He was the chaplain for VFW post 8253, West Hazleton. He was a loving husband and supportive father. He had many beloved pets ranging from bunny rabbits to cats and dogs. He had a soft spot for Caroline's dog, Cloud, as Cloud did for him. He will be missed greatly but is now in the arms of the Lord and Fay. The service will be live streamed at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 19 on Facebook at St. Marks Church, Philadelphia.
