Obituary of Grace M. Furphy

F U R P H Y Grace M. (nee Hines) passed peacefully on February 16, 2021. Wife of the late John J. Furphy. Loving mom of Suzanne Scott (Charles). Nana of Sarah Anne, Julia Scott and the late Sean Charles Scott. Sister of Joseph Hines and Vincent Hines. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Laska, Ann Kensil, Margaret Martin and her bothers Francis Hines, Kieran Hines and John Hines. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Wednesday February 24th 9:00 AM at St. Timothy Church 3001 Levick St. Phila., PA 19149. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Philadelphia Protestant Home Benevolent Fund 6401 Martins Mill Rd. Phila., PA 19111 would be appreciated by her family.
