Obituary of William J. Falkowski

F A L K O W S K I William J. on June 4, 2021 at age 84 after a long illness. Bill is the son of the late William and Ida (nee Oestreich) Falkowski. He is the loving brother of Loretta Kelly and (the late Edward), the late Jeanette Loglisci and (Peter), Robert Falkowski and the late Geraldine and John Scheidell. Uncle of Edward Kelly (Anita), Karen Schooling (David), Maureen Short (the late Rob), Shawn Kelly (Kim), Tim Kelly, Heather Connell (the late Michael), Diane Roemer (Michael), Peter Loglisci (Donna), Kathleen Trump (Ted), John Scheidell (Dawn), Susan Townsend (Jake), Patricia Capobianco (the late Frank), Jennifer McCulloch (Craig), Elizabeth Leonard (James) and Anne Mastropietro (Michael). Also survived by many grand and great nieces and nephews. Bill deeply loved his family and he took great care of his parents, especially as they grew older. Bill was a dedicated and long - term employee of the US Postal Service. He graduated from Northeast Public High School in 1955. He enjoyed sports and was a fun-loving person with a wonderful sense of humor. At age 19, he joined the US Marine Corps and throughout his life, he faithfully identified himself as a US Marine. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday June 10th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Reilly Rakowski Funeral Home 2632-34 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134. An additional viewing will take place on Friday morning June 11th 10:00 AM at Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers feel free to make donations Nativity BVM Church at the address listed above. Bill was a great guy and a loving family member.
