Obituary of Stanley Tamasitis

Stanley (Bud) Tamasitis, of Port Richmond in Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2021. He was 88 years old. Bud was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean War. Bud was known as a M*A*S*H buff, a pool shark (especially on his home pool table), and a fan of the music of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Bud will be missed by all who knew him, but we are comforted with the memories of how he touched each of our lives over so many years. Bud was the devoted and beloved husband of his wife Julia (Drauss) Tamasitis, who preceded him in death. He was loving father to his children Julie Schiela (Vincent), Marie Grabowski (Eric), Joseph Tamasitis (Alma and Mariola), and Linda Storino, and beloved pop-pop to grandchildren Laura Ryan (Mark), Ian Schiela, Aaron Schiela, and Alia Storino. Bud is also survived by his dear sister Margaret Tamasitis; he was preceded in death by his brother Jack Tamasitis. Services are private.
