Obituary of Claire Garris

CLAIRE GARRIS 4/17/1929 – 2/23/2022 Mom was born & raised in Queens and then moved to Philadelphia where she married my dad Hayden Garris. She raised 3 children, Linda, Glenn, & Denise (Boyle). Proud grandmother of 4, great grandmother of 8 & great great grandmother of 3. She retired from Colonial Penn Insurance at age 65 after many years working as a customer service rep. The cats in the yard will never be the same mom tried to save them all whoever came. We are going to miss her immensely even after 92 years. Her ashes will be in Atlantic City, her favorite place. Services will be private.
