Catherine was born on February 20, 1928, and entered into eternal rest on May 6 , 2018. Catherine was the youngest daughter of Charles and Anna Butler and sister to Theresa, who was her best friend throughout her life. After graduating from Little Flower High School, she trained to be a secretary and went on to become the Executive Assistant to the President, at what is now known as PNC bank. After WWII, Catherine met and married the love of her life, Joseph R. Null. They were married at St.Joan of Arc Catholic Church on June 18, 1949. She and Joe built a life together full of travel and world adventures. After 11 years of marriage, Catherine and Joe were blessed with a son they named Charles, but they affectionately called him Chuck. They continued their travels with Chuck in tow, visiting places like Hawaii and Fiji, but also following the Philadelphia Flyers in their games around the USA. After Chuck started school, Catherine changed jobs to be closer to home and became the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of BETZ labs, where she remained until she retired at age 70. After retirement, she became an avid fan of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Notre Dame Football, and would never miss a game on TV! A devout Catholic, Catherine was a member of St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, where she attended mass and was a member of the 50+ Club and the Seniors Club. Catherine was the last surviving member of both the Butler and Null families, as she was pre-deceased by her parents, Charles and Anna Butler, her sister, Theresa C. Statkus, her husband of 48 years Joseph R. Null and her son Charles W. Null. She is survived by her daughter in law, Kerry Ann Null Leraris (Dennis) who cared for her for the last 13 years and her brother in law, Anthony Statkus, a niece Jan Surrichio (Joe), two nephews Richard Powers (Marilyn), and Colin Powers (Susan), 9 great nieces and nephews and 15 great great nieces and nephews.
